julian and i have both had the stomach bug that has been going around. yuck! sunday was the first day that we both felt better. we decided to go to a pumpkin patch to pick our halloween pumpkins. despite how bored he looks in the photos, julian had a really good time! he started out in a very cute fall outfit, but there was a blowout in the car that resulted in wearing whatever was in the diaper bag (pajamas, as it turns out). oh well, at least he's on the mend.
a new calf was born that morning at the farm! here's a shot of it with his mother, eating corn that they weren't supposed to be. the farmer had to stop the tractor to chase them back into their pen. everyone agreed that the mother should be given a break since she had just given birth that morning.
